Delete your Intu account

How to ask us to delete your account

Either of these files a request:

• In the app: open the ••• menu in the top bar, tap Account, then Delete account and confirm. On the web the same page is at /account.
• By email: write to info@intuitioneducation.com.au from the address on your account, with the subject Account deletion request.

How long it takes

We action deletion requests within 30 days of receiving them, and email you at the address on your account once it is done.

What is deleted

We remove the personal information that identifies you, including:

• your name, email address, phone numbers, address and sign-in credentials;
• your date of birth, school and other profile details;
• your communication preferences and notification settings;
• any photo or device registered to your account for the app;
• messages and notes about you that are not part of a record we must keep.

Once this is done you can no longer sign in.

What is kept, and why

• Financial records — quotes, invoices, payments, credit notes and refunds. Australian tax and record-keeping obligations require us to retain these, and we keep them only for as long as the law requires.
• Academic records — the record of tuition delivered, enrolments, attendance and assessment results, for the same reason and the same period.
• De-identified information — aggregate figures that can no longer be linked to a person may be retained.
• Backups — residual copies in encrypted backups are removed on our normal backup rotation.

Parents and children

A parent account and a student account are separate accounts. Deleting one does not delete the other, so tell us if you want both removed.
